Sadly, after many attempted breaches of my security, and thousands of bots trying to purchase items with stolen credit cards (nothing like being woken up in the night by 30 emails saying ‘this card was declined’ along with some very unlikely supposed-to-be-British addresses) I decided the best thing to do for my customers’ safety (my web security never failed, but I still worried), my sanity, and my sleep, was to disable my shop.
I’m adding jewellery to my Folksy shop as often as I can. It’s a totally safe place to shop, and all the makers are British based – no ai-sellers or drop-shippers – honestly, as a small maker and seller, I love the site!
You may notice that pages will will be added and removed from this website over the next few months. This will be me tinkering in my spare time to try and get things working again. At the moment, my plan is to use this website as a shop window and make every piece of jewellery link to the appropriate page in my Folksy shop where it can be purchased securely. In the longer term, I’d like to make this website function again as my own online shop, but I won’t do that until I can be sure that my customers’ details are totally secure here.
